Back to the grind

Back to work after an entire week off (both jobs). Goodness it was glorious. Work work work, busy busy busy.

Anxiety in the Workplace

I think there is something to the whole "Fake it 'til you make."

I work for law firm and my cousin is one of the top lawyers and got me the job. This is my first big girl job and man has it been challenging. I'm a fairly shy person around new people, loud once I get to know you. I answer phones and direct clients and lawyers and everyone in-between to where they need to go or who to talk to. I've hung up on several people, including my boss (yikes). I goof up constantly and it's a humble reminder that I don't know everything.

I got a bit of talk from my cousin today about my performance. I need to be more professional and I get that. It's just hard to get there.

On a brighter note, I took a lovely bath and am eating pizza and about to play some BL2. Heck yes.

Wednesday Musings

I just want it to stop raining. But I really don't want it to rain when I'm at the beach next week. Maybe like 1 day or a rainy morning or something but please I can't handle being in a house with 3 kids under 6 for long periods of time. I am not taking my laptop because I know I'll just stay on it all the time so I'm just taking my phone (which is pretty much cheating) and lots of books.

Bought a pair of shoes off ebay today. I need to learn how to budget more effectively lol. It would just help if I had more options of shoes than my black pair (that make my feet stink to the high heavens), a tan pair that hurt like hell, and my mauve pair. Sooon my dog of war.

I really need to learn how to budget.

Yesterday was fun

Got to hang out with Caitlin, see a baseball game, and fireworks! Woke up exhausted and with a headache, no work today. Just gonna chill at my moms and see Zombie! YAY DOGS!

Taco Bell

Why is it so good but so bad for you? Life is unfair. But I'm getting a hair cut today and I AM SO EXCITED BECAUSE I AM CUTTING IT ALL OFF.

Annie is the best movie ever.

I LOVE ANNIE, it's amazing. So adorable. :D
